New Alice Through the Looking Glass Funko Pop!

I went to go see “The Huntsman: Winter’s War” yesterday and they showed the new Alice Through the Looking Glass trailer beforehand. The sequel looks stunning and dark, just as I would expect from a Tim Burton produced film. If you haven’t seen it, here it is:

I really enjoyed the designs for Alice in Wonderland Funko Pop! They are so much fun and I love both of the stories. I am excited to show you guys the new Funko Pop! figures for the new Alice Through the Looking Glass movie.

This is the new Alice Through the Looking Glass Funko Pop. I prefer the first model, since it shows Alice with her traditional blue dress. For this movie it looks like she’s been upgraded to Wonderland’s badass. Not to say I don’t like her outfit, but she doesn’t look like “Alice” to me.

On the other hand, I love the character design of the Red Queen Funko Pop! Her outfit upgrade is really fitting for the character. It’s edgy, tough, and mischievous. Her combat boots are so awesome: perfect for a draconian ruler! I can’t wait to see the mini Helena Bonham Carter wearing those.

It looks like the Mad Hatter Funko Pop has mellowed out. He still has his awesome caterpillar eyebrows! This Mad Hatter looks like he’s going to a dinner party instead of a tea party! I love all of the Mad Hatter Funko Pops! I think I’m biased because he’s my favorite character.

This Young Chessur Funko Pop is the cute version of the Cheshire Cat. His smile is significantly less sinister! I’m a little bummed about that. I love that he is balancing on his tail. It makes him look very youthful. IF you like “cute”, this version is better. Personally, I prefer the ominous feeling the first one brings.

Finally, this Funko series has the McTwisp Funko figure! And he is holding his infamous pocket watch. I was incredibly disappointed they didn’t have him in the last set of figures. It was a huge surprise, since he’s such an important character. I am just thrilled he made the cut this time!

I think it’s hilarious they decided to make Time such a prominent character in this new movie. The Time Funko Pop! is half man, half clock. In the book the Mad Hatter was punished by Time and is forever at his mad tea party at 6pm. How do you guys feel about Sacha Baron Cohen playing Time? I’m starting to feel like this movie might be more goofy than haunting.
