“Knit Your Own Zombie” presents “Over 1,000 Combinations to Rip ‘n’ Reassemble for Horrifying Results.” Besides patterns for making the zombies themselves, the book includes patterns for zombie clothing, and accessories such as knitted rats and maggots.
“Knitmare on Elm Street” offers twenty projects “that go bump in the night.” The projects include an Abominable Snowman, a plush monkey with miniature cymbals, a creepy ventriloquist’s dummy hand puppet, a Haitian voodoo doll, a shrunken head, a haunted house diorama, and a sideshow carnival finger puppet theater. So creative!
“Knit a Monster Nursery” is a bit too cheerful and colorful for my personal tastes, but definitely has some adorable non-mainstream patterns. The monsters just aren’t quite monstrous enough for me I guess.
“Gothic Knits” presents nine different knitted doll patterns. Once you get the hang of creating the dolls, it will be easy to customize them and make them just as spooky as you like.
“Evil Knits” presents “Twenty Projects that Go Bump in the Night.” Learn to knit gravestones, zombies, a voodoo doll, ghosts, a freakshow finger puppet, a cymbal-clashing monkey, clowns and other creepy toys.
